As the worldwide number one simulation software solution provider of Siemens PLM Software, MAYA develops and markets a variety of software products for thermal, fluid flow and structural simulation analysis which are used in over 25 countries. To support our strategy for continued growth, we are looking for Sales Engineers to join our team in the US.
Sales Engineer:
MAYA requires a highly innovative and entrepreneurial Sales Engineer to operate as an individual business unit reporting to senior management. This role will involve sales of complex hi-tech software and services solutions. Remuneration is comprised of base salary, commission and business unit profit sharing.
Key Responsibilities:
The Sales Engineer will be responsible and accountable for a wide range of activities, including: ? Selling appropriate technical solutions for complex hi-tech problems ? Managing the profitability of his/her individual business unit and achieving assigned sales targets ? Prospecting for new customers, generating leads and identifying sales opportunities ? Account management of existing customer base, growing his/her territory and managing customer relationships ? Delivering presentations, proposals and quotes to prospects ? Working in close collaboration with Maya?s technical teams and partners
Requirements:
Key Qualifications
? University degree (Mechanical Engineering or related field) ? Minimum of 5 years software and solution sales ? Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written ? Entrepreneurial, self-motivated and able to work autonomously ? Strong technical and sales background with a passion for hi-tech products and cutting edge solutions ? Comfortable with technical aspects of new business segments and markets ? Proven record of exceeding quotas and developing new business ? Travel within a designated territory required
